Class Six

We start the year with a focus on settling down to being role models and all that comes with this.  We will adventure to the USA for our first novel ‘There’s a Boy in the Girls’ bathroom’ where comedy awaits, lots of our work will evolve from this, including shopping for and making our own New York Style Pizza.

You know I love a waistcoat and this term we will try and make one from scratch as part of our DT! The catwalk awaits.

Life is one big adventure, and with Church Week and lots of Science this term we will be learning to understand our role and place in this world, how everything and everyone is interconnected and classifying organisms.  One big privilege will be the start of our roles as buddies to our new Reception intake…I know Year 6 are very excited for this!

We will pause to remember as we reflect and adventure into WW1 and II.  ‘Oranges in No Man’s Land’ will be our next novel as we look at current affairs, civil wars, refugees and the fallouts of war.

We also have a little visit called Robinwood to contend with...I'm sure you've heard about it... This is bound to be an adventurous highlight.

For families of children already in our school please remember to regularly view Tapestry for our weekly shout outs and much more!
