    Friday 24th July (Genevieve Evans)

It is hard to believe that today is the last day of term – A term we will never forget! It has certainly been a rollercoaster of a year…

I am so so proud of all of you and how positive you have been during the school closure and lock down. You have worked so hard, learnt so many new things and have adapted to the new ways and routines so well. It was so special to see you all on Wednesday for our farewell on the field. I loved hearing all about what you have been up to and what you are looking forward to next year. You are all more than ready for the exciting times and challenges of Year 5 and I know you are going to love it! Mr Lonsdale is so lucky to be getting the best, most hard working, charismatic, energetic, hilarious, loving and caring group of children. I will really miss you next year. (I am only next door and you are always more than welcome to come and catch up with me!)

Finally, I would like to say a huge thank you for all of the generous and thoughtful gifts and cards. It really means the world to me. You are so kind – Thank you.

I hope you all have a wonderful summer holiday.

Looking forward to seeing you all again soon.

    Enjoy!

    Friday 20th July (Genevieve Evans)

This is Sasha and Conner. This week has been amazing. In maths , we have been looking at graphs and transferring shapes. As well as this , we have been looking at tally charts, which most of us found really easy and helpful . In science , we have been planting sunflowers and seeing whose will grow the tallest , we have also been investigating where plants grow the best. After this , we made a log to keep track of how fast the plants are growing. In discovery , our class have been researching about A girl called Malala who fought for girls to be able to go to school . It was quite upsetting but very interesting to see the change that she made . In PE , with Mr A , we have been trying activities such as Relays, bean bag throwing and long jumps . Everyone found it very fun .In circles , we have looked at what it is like to be in year 5 which was very interesting. Overall , this week has been really useful and we have had a fantastic time!
