    Friday 24th July (Melanie Day)

Well - here it is! The end of the school year. I can't quite believe it. What a rollercoaster it has been. Certainly a school year we will remember for the rest of our lives! Have to be honest - I am feeling quite emotional as I write the final blog of the year!

I can't express how much I have loved the time I have had being the Year 3 teacher this year. Mrs Eva, myself, Mrs Parry and Ms Shaw are so, SO proud of all your children. Honestly, they are fantastic, kind, hardworking and charismatic children. I am genuinely SO sad that my time being their teacher in class has been cut short. They are a year group I will never forget. The last day of school always means closing one door and the opening of another; after seeing the children on Monday (and how much they have grown in just a few months!) it is obvious they are ready for their next stage of the adventure of All Saints'. They are no longer the slightly timid, wide-eyed children that entered our Year 3 classroom back in September, wondering what KS2 would hold. They are mature, confident, eager and excited for Year 4. I have told Miss Taylor and Mrs Daniel how lucky they are!! These brilliant children are a credit to you all and I know you are immensely proud of them too.

So for the final time - here are the the stats!

Mathletics: We have a total of 8 certificates this week.  Bronze goes to: Iris, Teddy, Ben, Elliott and Louie! Very well done guys. Silver goes to Teddy and Louie. WOW! AMAZING! And a spectacular, incredible WELL DONE to LOUIE!! He has achieved his GOLD certificate too!! SO PROUD! WELL DONE LOUIE!

TT Rockstars:  First of all - WOW! WOW! WOW!! We won!!!!!!! Year 3 WON the in-school competition against Year 4!! BRILLIANT NEWS!! SO proud of you all. Thank you to everyone who made the achievement possible by working their hardest on TT Rockstars last week! Rock on!!

This week on the leader board we have - Ella, Teddy, Emma, Jacob, Elliott, Sam, Logan, Lauren and Louie - well done you clever cookies! Special mention needs to go to Dillon who is a new name on our leader board! Fantastic work! Superstars this week - Max for most improved - amazing work Max! And also to Benjamin who earned the most coins with a whopping 45,716!!! Incredible Ben. Well done.

Reading Eggspress - 5 Bronze medals this week. Very well done to Teddy, Sam, Elliott, Logan and Lauren. Amazing work guys.

THANK YOU!!! I want to thank the children for the warmth, memories and learning we have shared over the past year. Always strive to be the best you can be. You're all so special and we know you will continue to fly! Please pop in, when you're grown up Year 4's and let us know how you are getting on. We will miss you very much.

I hope you all have a well earned, relaxing and enjoyable summer holiday. I look forward to seeing you in September.

    Lots of love
